ISPS Handa World Invitational Men | Women
Venue: Galgorm Castle Golf Club, Massereene Golf Club
Dates: 12 - 18 August 2019
The event formally known as the NI Open has been transformed into a new global event for men and women professionals. The progressive tournament is the first of its kind in Europe and is sure to be one of world golf's most exciting in 2019 with men and women playing the same course at Galgorm Castle Golf Club, at the same time while competing for an equal split of the $500,000 prize money. Practice Days run from 12 - 14 August, with Round 1 taking place 15 August, Round 2 on 16 August, Round 3 on 17 August and Final Round on 18 August. Tickets can be purchased online.
Newry Mourne & Down Summer Trophy
Venues: Spa Golf Club, Ardglass Golf Club and Royal County Down Golf Club
Dates: 14 - 16 August 2019
This tournament, which is a favourite with many US, Canadian and European golfers, is limited to 198 players and played over three days, across Spa Golf Club, Ardglass Golf Club and Royal County Down Golf Club, all in County Down. The format is singles stableford, with scores from all three days counting towards the overall winning total. On the final day, which takes place in the world-famous Royal County Down Golf Club, golfers tee off in order of leaderboard positions. The top 150 play on the Championship Links, whilst the remaining 48 play the Annesley Links. The tournament is open to male and female golfers who are members of an affiliated golf club and hold an official handicap. Entry costs £220 / €250 with registration online.
Festival of Golf, Fermanagh Lakelands
